Controversial video of the incident, which some may find disturbing, shows a bikini-clad woman attempting to ride a white horse into a sea of clubgoers.

Miami Beach Police said on Twitter Friday morning that they have launched a joint investigation with Miami Beach Code Enforcement.

Two recent incidents where women rode a white horse inside Miami Beach nightclubs appeared to be trying recreate to a famous stunt at New York's Studio 54 in 1977.

"You guys are absolutely disgusting allowing animal cruelty inside your club", one user posted.

A horse walked into a club - no joke.

"We are very concerned over the allegations", Officer Ernesto Rodriguez said of the incident to Miami New Times. Many are blasting the venue for repeated animal cruelty and police have not ruled out cruelty charges. But Melissa Berthier, a spokeswoman for the city, said in an email Saturday that the police had located the horse and had determined it to be "healthy and safe".
