YouTube has launched an Apple TV app for its YouTube TV streaming service. Just like live TV, you'll see ads when watching live programming onYouTube TV, but it still costs a lot less than cable television service.
This is something we were already expecting to happen, but nonetheless, it's exciting that Roku users have yet another live TV service to choose from. You had to make use if the AirPlay functionality on your iPhone or iPad in order to stream YouTube TV content on a bigger display.
Alphabet Inc's Google extended its YouTube Go video app, designed for emerging markets where consumers may have cheaper phones and limited Internet access, to more than 115 additional countries on Thursday, the company said.
If you're an existing user of the service, you can simply navigate to the tvOS App Store and download the app at no charge. The receiver then downloads a unique decryption key from YouTube's servers before the video can be played back in the YouTube app.More news: United States fines 3 banks RM181 million for 'spoofing' precious metal trades

The tvOS app is available for both the 4th generation Apple TV and the recently announced Apple TV 4K. Add-on plans are available for an extra fee and include networks like Showtime and Fox Soccer Plus. YouTube News senior product manager Geoff Samek said in a blog post Friday that these notices will only be shown to USA audiences for the time being.
