The Wii U platformer Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is coming to the Switch with Funky Kong as a new playable character.

Even better, being on the Switch means that TWEWY's unique touch-based controls remain intact. Additionally, the update will come with new outfits and new filters for Snapshot Mode. Available through two "Waves", Wave 1 of the Battle Pack will include Aegislash and Support Pokemon Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu. The second wave, coming out on March 23, introduces Blastoise and support for Mew and Celebi. Pokken Tournament will receive the Deluxe Battle Pack DLC. Kirby Star Allies is all about playing with friends: yours and Kirby's.

The game is slated for release later this year, on May 25th for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Following the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC releases, NIS America is bringing Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana to Nintendo Switch. The update being released in February will also add three new outfits to the game - a Super Mario Sunshine-inspired outfit, a musician outfit, and a knight armor. The free update will release for Super Mario Odyssey this February. Tag Team Frenzy has new moves called Dream Finishes, which seem to be the only way to defeat an opponent after most of their health is gone. Expect it for the Nintendo Switch this summer.

New DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will add Donkey Kong as a playable character. The DLC will be available this Spring. It arrives February 27. Players will be able to sing across a lovely expanse on February 16.
