Chinese retail giant Suning left little to the imagination yesterday when listing the technically unreleased Nokia 6 (2018) on its popular e-commerce platform, and since the smartphone brand's own official website directs prospective early buyers to that local e-tailer now, all the prematurely revealed info was obviously correct.

We saw a leaked breakdown of the upcoming second-generation Nokia 6 just yesterday, and that report turned out to be pretty accurate. Dubbed Nokia 6 (2018), the handset is the first offering from the Finnish-based company. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera.

The Nokia 6 (2018) is priced at CNY 1499 (roughly $230 or Rs 14660) for its 32GB model and CNY 1699 (approx $260 or Rs 16610) for its 64GB one.

This led some to bemoan the phone because it runs Google's Android 7.0 Nougat software - which launched back in 2016 - rather than the recently released Android 8.0 Oreo.

On the design side of things, the button and fingerprint reader arrangement is new. We can expect HMD to launch the Nokia 6 2018 in India soon enough but the company will have to get the pricing right on this one. Dual-Sight, to recall, is a feature that lets a user to simultaneously use both the rear and front cameras to take stills/record videos.

Nokia 6 has the 5.5-inch IPS screen, and the screen resolution of it is 1080×1920 pixels.

While the previous Nokia 6 smartphone carried an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, the Nokia 6 (2018) now accommodates a better octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Adreno 508 GPU.

The upcoming Nokia 6 (2018) first dropped by TENAA last month, and now, the authority added more information. Both variants have 4GB RAM.

The most immediately noticeable aspect of the Nokia 6 (2018) is the relocation of its fingerprint sensor to the back.

Powering the Nokia 6 (2018) is a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with support for fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes, according to HMD Global.

The new Nokia 6 (2018) has been unveiled in China and will go on sale by January 10.

Other highlights include support for Bluetooth 5.0, an LTE Cat 4 radio (150Mbps DL / 50Mbps UL), dual-SIM support, a microSD card slot, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.
