Wind Chill Advisory Expanded…Dangerous Wind Chills Expected


-9 for the morning low, the record is -12.

The National Weather Service has issued another wind chill advisory for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as parts of Middle Tennessee for midnight tonight through noon Tuesday. Staying indoors is recommended, but if going outside, make sure you have the appropriate clothing and an emergency kit with blankets in your vehicle.

Expect frigid conditions at any outdoor New Years Eve celebrations tonight.

A low pressure system moves by offshore and gives us a chance for snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The wind chill will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect another cold night with lows in the upper teens.
