The whole thing is set in space, and looks to spoof Star Trek in some sort of fashion.

Of course, this being Black Mirror, there's more to it than that, as hinted at by one reaction from crew member Nanette (Christina Milioti), but the teaser doesn't let on. So if you're a Black Mirror purist who likes to unwrap their Christmas presents without shaking them first, then you might want to skip it and go in blind later this month.

The popular series, which won an Emmy previous year in television movie and television movie writing for the "San Junipero" episode, will return with six brand new episodes. "Crocodile" will toy with the idea of memories and how hard it can be to replicate them. And that's not all, as the streaming service has also revealed that the latest season of Charlie Brooker's acclaimed anthology series will arrive on December 29th; take a look at the posters and trailers here... Not only has a full-season trailer been released, but many episodes have been given individual trailers as well.

And here we are, with a final trailer for Black Mirror and the coveted release date.

"Hang the DJ" is taking on issues of online dating, as it takes place in a futuristic world and features a dating app that tells you everything you need to know about your partner. The fourth season promises to live up to the widely lauded previous season, boasting high-profile directors like Jodie Foster, Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Tim Van Patten, David Slade, and Colm McCarthy, and stars like Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons.

Meanwhile, The Independent recently sat down with creator, showrunner, and writer Charlie Brooker to discuss the upcoming episodes.
