Sheriff: No sightings of missing Florida teen since Sunday

The Columbia County, Florida, Sheriff's Office tweeted the updates.

Police confirm that 17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina has been found. It's not clear whether Frisina was with anyone when she was found.

The search ends a days-long drama in which Frisina was discovered to have left her Lake City home with Rian Rodriguez, a 27-year-old soccer coach.

Scarlet Parnell Frisina, the teenager's mother, sent a pleading message to her daughter at the news conference. "We just don't know what".

They may be traveling north in a 2001, red Mercury Sable with Florida tag Z04CSC, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said. Authorities revealed they had learned of some kind of "blossoming" relationship between the two. Ward Frisina said there were no indications his daughter might run away and it's not like her to be out of touch with her family.

CCSO believed from the beginning that Caitlyn and Rodriguez were heading toward the Northeast, where they both have families.

Frisina had a boyfriend at the time of her disappearance who believed their relationship was good, according to reports. A missing persons investigation was underway in Florida, though the case was not being considered kidnapping and no criminal charges were pending.

Frisina is believed to have left her home in Columbia County voluntarily sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning and was reported missing by her parents, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Her parents had issued an emotional plea for her return. I know my love for you.

"Frisina was listed as 5'7" and 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
