Federal Bureau of Investigation joins search for missing NC toddler

The mother of a missing 3-year-old girl made an emotional plea following the little girl's disappearance Sunday night.

Woods went to keep an eye on her the next morning, however cautioned experts at around 6 a.m. when she couldn't discover her.

Mariah's grandmother said due to her grandaughter's walking issues, she can't imagine her wandering off.

"In the event that anyone knows where she is at or any data, simply please call the sheriff's area of expertise or tell anyone", the young lady's mom, Kristy Woods, told columnists Monday through tears.

Mariah has an orthopedic leg problem, causing her left leg to wobble when she walks. "She is very sweet loving girl".

Mariah Woods was last seen at 2405 Lot 7 Dawson Cabin Rd.in Jacksonville, NC at 11:30 p.m. when she was put to bed.

Rebecca Crooks helped in the search on Tuesday.

"Just to be able to touch her and hold her and not let her go again, I'd give anything", she told reporters.

Several agencies are working together in an effort to bring Mariah home.

Kristy Woods is overwhelmed with emotion as search crews desperately look for her little princess who is missing. The local sheriff's office believes Mariah was abducted. "She is three years old, please notify them". Woods said, according to WCTI.

In the conference, Onslow County Sheriff Hans Miller said details of the investigation will remain confidential at this time, but he said they are accepting any tips from the community.
