The iPhone SE is meant to cater to the needs of the budget smartphone hunters who want to use an iPhone. According to 9to5Mac, it is likely that the SE 2 will receive the A10 chip now used by iPhone 7 units. India is a huge market for smartphones, but consumers lack the purchasing power to continually upgrade to high-end flagships. Notably, the iPhone SE was launched in March 2016.
Apple has been adamant about keeping the smaller handset alive over the past few years, and it's nice to see the company is keeping its word by making some modern changes to the device so it can still compete in the market.
