Portia de Rossi claims Steven Seagal 'unzipped' his trousers during audition

Portia de Rossi is among the growing list of actresses who have accused Steven Seagal of sexually assaulting them.

Shortly after she posted the tweet, her wife, United States chat show host Ellen, also took to Twitter, writing: "I'm proud of my wife". And I got out of there unscathed...

A similar claim was made by actor Rae Dawn Chong, who told The Wrap that Seagal wore only a bathrobe to a hotel audition in the 1980s and later allegedly exposed himself to her. Chong says that for several years after the incident, Seagal would leave "sex messages" on her answering machine.

"My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office", she wrote. "He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather trousers", De Rossi said on Twitter. "It's a long story... but I never was raped, and I never was harmed, and I don't know how I got out of that hotel room".

De Rossi claims that the encounter in a hotel room ended when Seagal "unzipped his leather pants". Unfazed, she replied, "well, I did not know if he was your type". The part was hers, but she had to go back to Seagal's home for a private rehearsal. And I said, 'And I do not take subways late at night.' And she says, 'Don't worry, we will reimburse you. "I don't travel. I don't have money for a cab". Earlier this year, Katherine Heigl told Jimmy Kimmel about starring alongside Seagal in the 1995 movie Under Siege 2, and a crude joke he made. "[He says] 'So, you were Playmate of the Year?' Then he said, 'Take off your dress.' I just started crying and said, 'Rent my Playboy video, you a-hole!' and ran out to the auto".

Actress-turned-journalist Lisa Guerrero also claimed that Seagal almost assaulted her.

De Rossi is one of many Hollywood stars to have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct in recent weeks.
