Malcolm in the Middle star, Frankie Muniz has revealed that he can't remember most of his time spent on the set as a result of numerous concussions.

The 31-year-old star, who is now showing off his dancing skills on the latest season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars, said that a number of health issues including nine concussions and many "mini-strokes"- known as TIA's (Transient Ischemic Attack) means he draws a blank when trying to recall some of his fondest memories.

"I love to be able to look back", the former child actor said. "Things pop back into my mind [that] I should have remembered", the Malcom in the Middle alum explained in his rehearsal video. "To be honest, I've never really talked about it", he said. "I've gotten to really do anything I've wanted to do, but the truth is, I don't remember much [of it]..."

Frankie Muniz is a race vehicle driver, musician and writer, but most fans remember him best from his days as the teen lead on the hit sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle". "My job is to tell him to remember what happened on Malcolm in the Middle". "They're still your experiences".

"My most memorable year is 2017, because I learned to live in the present", Muniz added. Remember that on Malcolm? "I just don't necessarily remember".

Following Muniz and Carson's quickstep performance to "Adventure of a Lifetime" by Coldplay, host Tom Bergeron said, "You seem to be nearly at peace with the fact that you're having memory issues". I'm happy with the decision I made to race cars and to focus on music. I think it nearly feels like it wasn't me.

"Over the past 10 years, my mom will bring up things like trips we went on or big events and they are new stories to me".

The actor was involved in a serious auto accident in 2009 while competing as a professional race care driver.
